Freeze-dried Whole Strawberries, GREAT PRICE!

If you live in the Las Vegas area, I’m about to tell you a secret that I don’t think many people know. One Costco in Las Vegas (Decatur & 215 northside) and the one in Henderson have Augason Farms freeze-dried whole strawberries for $9.97 a can!!!! And this is the #10 can, not the everyday size can.

The current price for these on Augason Farms website is $26.15, that’s a 61% discount if my math is right!!! And that doesn’t include the cost of shipping. I buy a couple of cans to add to my food storage every time we shop there. They are perfect for snacks, as a topping for cereal or yogurt, and soon I’ll be showing you how to use them to make fruit roll-ups.

Run, don’t walk,
and stock-up!
With a shelf-life of 30 years,
you can’t go wrong.

Oh, and they also have the whole dried eggs in #10 cans for $9.97 too! That’s a 48% savings! Tomorrow I’ll show you our results of the week 1 challenge of replacing whole dried eggs for fresh eggs in boxed cake mix.

Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise,
Which, having no captain, Overseer or ruler,
Provides her supplies in the summer,
And gathers her food in the harvest.

I wonder if our Costco in Kona has these also. I’ll look next time I’m there.

  2. SIL says:

man I’m so happy our costco has halloween decorations and costums galore, if we ever have an earthquake, we will all dress up sit in a circle and sing “koom ba ya”, or whatever is the song called, or even “we are the world”
